Publish to Twitter

Here at eSnips, we’ve all about finding new ways to connect you with your audience, and in that vein, we have a couple of cool new features to announce!

First off, you know how everyone and his uncle is on Twitter now? Take advantage of that with our new “Publish to Twitter” option, which will automatically posts everything you upload as a clickable link on Twitter. Located directly below the upload option, you just have to enter your Twitter username and password once, decide if you want to personalize a message of up to 120 characters, and all your followers are instantly in the loop.

If you’d prefer to Publish to Twitter only on a case to case basis, there’s an option for that too, and while I know you’ll want to personalize your tweet, if you’re in a hurry, there’s a default message pimping your awesome content for you.  It’s a great way to self promote!

But we’re not just limiting your options to Twitter; located right below your content is our second new tool that will let you send anyone’s eSnips content, not just your own, to Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and Digg!  No matter what the social network, eSnips is making sure you’re connected  😀

The Elvis and Experimental Art Communities have a brand new Moderator!

Miss P,  a.k.a Philo has gratiously agreed to come aboard filling not one, but two vacant moderator positions. So without any further ado, lets learn a little bit more about her…

Q: From taking on two different communities at once, to your interests in music and art, you seem like a pretty ambitious person, can you tell us a little bit more about yourself?

Miss P: “I’ve graduated a Secretary Education 22 years ago. (already…) Currently I am unemployed, some years ago I moved with my (retired) husband to a foreign country and am taking care of the house holding and him, so I guess I can make more free time during the day. Making music and painting is just not a hobby for me…it is my Work.

Ever since I discovered eSnips and decided to take a part in it, I enjoyed getting in touch with other people who share the same interests like I have. Especially because there is so much to discover, to learn, to improve and it fascinates me when somebody tells me that they can learn something from me, too.”

Q: What kind of art do you hope to feature in the Experimental Art Community?

Miss P: “Becoming more acquaintanced in this section and Art in general, I wish to encourage people to show us their original and innovating stuff, music, sculpture, paintings, whatever, which show an own character and what does something to people / me.

There are quite a group of people who create fascinating stuff and I wish to give a fair chance to everybody to get featured. Creativity, inspiration and motivation is very important for all of us.”

The Clown

Q: Most important question; what’s your favorite Elvis song?

Miss P: “This one is easy: my favourite Elvis song is “In the ghetto”. !!! 😉 I still have this vinyl record. (scratched…)”

Personally I’m more a fan of the Cartman version of that song… but the Elvis one ain’t bad either. Anyway, if you’d like to see more of  Philo’s work, you can check out her profile and of course, now you can also follow her in the Experimental Art and Elvis Communities!

eSnips gets a new header and footer!

New eSnips Header!

For the first time, in well ever, the eSnips front page has gotten a serious makeover! The header and footer have been redesigned, along with the official debut of the new eSnips logo (some of you caught a sneak peak of it in the last newsletter we sent out).

The facelift is meant to streamline the look of the site, while at the same time make it easier to connect with the content and Communities you’re looking for.

That being said, as we make the transition to the new design over the next couple of days, there might still be a few kinks to work out. Sometimes the new page will show up,  sometimes the old one… that kind of thing.

So if you’re seeing something you’re not supposed, just contact us at support@esnips.com and we’ll work with you to get it fixed up as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!
