As we try playing catch up with all the new features eSnips has introduced over the past couple of months, a subtle but important change has been the improvements made to the eSnips Search bar. In the previous version of Search, if you wanted to search a specific topic, you’d have to Video, Users, Audio, etc… separately which turned into a big inconvient time waster. But with the new eSnips Search, all the results are displayed on the same page!
The way it now works, the new Search page will now list video results first, followed by audio, images, users, and finally miscellaneous folders and files.
If you want to see additional results in any category, just click on one of plus sign icons and the rest of the results will drop, appearing on the same page.
It’s all pretty straightforward and hopefully intuitive enough that you didn’t even notice there were any changes!

The new search engine is great, there is a small bug that just display the first 2 pages from the search, but that shouldn’t be hard to fix, should it?
Anyway, congrats for the new site, it’s great!

The new look for the esnips is very nice. But i really preferred the old version. Because i search for audio’s more than the other stuff.
Could you tell how to filter the audio songs which has the option of downloading. Because when the search results are displayed in some cases not even one audio file will have a option of downloading and i really had mad searching and searching…..for the songs. So is there anyway i can filter only those songs which has the option of downloading?

i think users must allow customizing their searches.
Like with/without preview, audio first or nor etc..
This way the user experience could be increased.
I prefer the simple old method.

i agree, the old version was much, much better. for some reason i cant even put any songs in my quicklist so i can eventually add to my playlist. i see you have directions on how, but there is no quicklist to click where you say there is. id have to click on the actual box and even then it wont let me add the song to the quicklist

When are you going to fix the bug mentioned by many users above? Till you fix the bug, why don’t to allow us to use the older version. How many more days your engineers are taking to do this? It’s really disgusting. Chuck that big ego.. Accept your mistake and just go back to the older search and let the esnippers live in peace.
